Productions brought gang warfare to Lang Kwai Fong! We were delighted to present West Side Story on its 50th anniversary in February
2009, when a talented group of actors performed at the open Amphitheatre in Lang Kwai Fong. Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet"
is transported to the 1950s 'Hell's Kitchen' area of New York City. Young lovers, Maria and Tony are caught between
warring street gangs, the Jets and the Sharks and their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice is
one of the most innovative, heart wrenching and relevant musicals of our time. All performances took place at the Lok Hing Lane open Amphitheatre in Lan Kwai
Fong from Wednesday 25 February 2009 to Sunday 1 March 2009. ALL PERFORMANCES
